"Nobody is perfect. On the final day (Day 2), I indicated areas that needed touch-up. The workers did comply. However, as I continue painting the trim (as agreed), I have noticed areas where additional paint will be ncecessary. Initially I was told that I would see, at first hand, how professional painters tape areas for clean, smooth edging and corners (using tape and silicon). This was not done. After the work was done, I was told that not everyone does this. Oh, well. Also, before the project was started, I was assured that the painters would remove the light switch covers, not just paint around them. Again, this was not done. Additionally, the patch work under the window by my front door is rather obvious. I will need to redo it.
I appreciated the celerity of the project, but I feel that the workmanship was somewhat overstated. "

"Once I agreed to go with you guys I heard nothing from you and had to call a few times to find out when you'd begin work. I was also told at the time of the estimate that a crew of 2 or 3 painters would do the job and it was only done by 1 painter. As a result, the job took a day longer than expected. The painter did a good job overall, although 1 wall shows different roller marks and should be repainted to blend it in, but he had no information when he showed up. We had to explain the whole job to him and then he began painting with the wrong type of paint. Overall, the organization of the job was very poor, but the painter did a decent job."

Clean-up was a joke as there was a lot of dried paint chips to clean up and wood trim that got speckled with paint. There was only one person on the crew who spoke english and it made interaction difficult. The crew seemed to spend a lot of time on their cell phones and disappeared for 3 hours the first day."

"There was some spots I had Jim take a look at. Some things they were to take care of, they didn't. They overshot the dry wall and the plaster is over my baseboards. There's runs on the baseboards and interior doors. My wife spent a whole day cleaning things with paint on them which they should have covered. There wasn't a follow up call to see how everything was. They wanted another chance to come back out but we didn't do it because we didn't want another mess to clean up. I think they did a rush job and I think they could have done a whole lot better. We were referred from Angie's list and I don't have confidence in Angie's List. "
